Are there any plugins for color-coding Kubectl output?

#1

For working with Kubernetes, one common problem I get is that the words Pending and Running look the same when they’re right next to each other running kubectl get pods, so I’ve missed long-Pending containers thinking they were Running. It seems like it’d be simple to make a script that color-codes Kubectl output, but are there any plugins that are already out there for giving different pod statuses different colors?

I’m not aware of a plugin to do this, but you can probably achieve it with grc/grcat. These generic tools allow you to colourise keywords in the output of any other tool.
